Dongguan,March 21, 2023 – VistoTek, a professional IOT provider, has released Serial Device Server with WiFi VTK-SDS3021E-W5, The device is a mini device designed based on the ARM9+Linux architecture. It can convert RS232 and RS485 to TCP/IP packets and connect to the Internet through Ethernet and WiFi interfaces. RS232 devices and RS485 devices can communicate simultaneously, and the serial port can communicate bidirectionally with Ethernet or WiFi. The Ethernet and WiFi interfaces can bridge the connection. The device supports the MQTT protocol and communicates with remote cloud servers through subscribe and publish. The device can work in TCP server mode, TCP client mode, UDP mode, and virtual serial port mode. The default setting is MODBUS transparent transmission mode, which can be modified to MODBUS gateway mode through configuration. In MODBUS gateway mode, the serial server can support various configuration software, and after simple setup, communication between MODBUS TCP and MODBUS RTU can be realized, supporting MODBUS TCP instruction cache and MODBUS RTU polling. Customization registration packets and heartbeat packets are supported. This device is widely used in various scenarios such as industrial automation, power automation, and intelligent transportation.
